Is it CB spam season or what?

You guys do know there is an “OFF” knob on every single radio……

 

How about the Squelch and/or RF gain knobs ?

 

Maybe those wierdo’s who think acting like an annoying child should learn a little respect and all go to a different channel or better yet get on thier phones and be annoying to thier idiot friend who thinks they are funny. Most drivers use the CB as a tool to do thier daily duties.

Just grow up and try to find something else to entertain thier simple mind!

 

If driven thru towns where some “local’s” run on 19. They talk from a base stations . Some are cool and some can get under your skin. The more you provoke them telling them that there on a trucker channel(they know), they won’t quit talking to one another. Your basically fighting a losing battle. That’s when it time to use the OFF button. Your not gonna convince them. Then you have the individuals that are skipping, those are fun to listen to. I’ve talk to several, makes you feel like the big boys when they acknowledge you and there halfway across the country.

 

Thankfully I run at night and there's no real reason to have it on until coming up to construction areas to find out which lane is shut down or if its a rolling road block. And the ones that do talk.....I'd swear its the same guy, or the same family tree that went straight up.

 

They're ignorant fools but you can take the adult route and turn your receive down and/or squelch them out. Both will solve your problem and you'll still be able to talk/hear to those close to you.

 

The only one that I think is on a base station that annoys me. I hear when I’m down by the river on 95 in Philadelphia. He spouts out a crap load of misleading political ########. That one needs to be found and taken out with the trash.

Never knew talking to someone could make an other feel like a big boy. Sorry but I don’t have any need to feel like a big boy because I talked to someone on a cb. Not to be rude but I would think if talking with someone on the cb is making someone else feel like a big boy they have some shortcomings and would do much better talking to a shrink!
