Is it difficult to switch dual rims on a trailer to super singles?

Yeah I actually noticed this when I pull trailers with super singles and duals. The trailer with the duals doesn't lean as much due to the wider wheelbase. You can see the tires sticking out wider than the actual trailer. The super single trailers I pull the tires are way underneath the trailer and it leans on turns to where I have to slow down when guys with duals cut the curve with ease while passing me.

However like I mentioned before on really tight docks I can easily pull in without pull ups with super singles but the duals by the time I jack my truck the trailer is still half way turned into the hole.

I've done a bit of research on this, and for me the SS just aren't worth the hassle. The difference in MPG between the SS and a quality low rolling resistance tire is nearly nothing, and for that nothing you get a lot of headache. I remember a few winters ago riding around with my buddy in his 2500 Dodge in the snow and we drove up on a Milan truck that was blocking a lane trying to make it up a very slight grade in Bowling Green. We got him to the top of the hill (in 2wd lol) and that ruined any idea of SS for me lol

I could maybe see running them if you are payed by the pound for what you haul but that's where it ends.
