When it comes down to it, don't pick a job by who has the shiniest trucks or what kind of transmissions they have, that's all non sense. It's who has the policies I can best live with and the pay and benefits that work best for me.Dave_in_AZ, MondoburgerHD and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
^^^ If you hurry, most schools train on manuals still; so you don't get the "auto" restriction on your CDL. So you can say you can! Personally, I couldn't pull my tanks up some of the 2 lanes with an auto as easily as I can now... and slowing down for the surge would probably be harder in an auto...but to each their own~

I'm like you i watch a lot of youtube trucking videos. It's easy so easy that you will be a lease operator in less then a year like most youtube drivers lol
