Tonight I am parked in Arkansas and see this truck pulling out of the fuel lane with only one headlight working and so I walk up and tell the guy but he did not seem to really care. Just drove right on out saying he was not worried about it.
I have only been driving a couple years and honestly never been inspected or pulled over yet for anything so maybe I do not really know. I just always thought driving a truck with a bad light at night meant instant death from dot. Is it not that big of a deal? Do truckers get warnings for stuff like that like regular cars do?
Is it important to fix a burned out headlight?

No, we get tickets, csa points and the like.... but some drivers simply lack the mental capacity to change a bulb. (Or carry a spare)

Cars and Trucks both have to have working headlights... Some drivers don't care...

The way I see it, I never wanna give cops the reason to pull me over. Lord knows as a black male I have been pulled over for some of the most trivial things ever. That includes even when am not driving.

the first thing i learned when i got my license in 1969 was to have everything working a cop notices
