I had a cracked headlight housing on an older Corn Binder I was driving. Boss argued it didnt matter. I won and got it fixed. Anything broken should be fixed, whether it matters to DOT or not. Take some pride in your work. (Not a shot at the OP, more a shot at the guy he saw )
I had an 84 Cutlass dad and I rebuilt a 455 rocket and a blower and threw it in. Loved that car...till Dad hit a deer eith it. #######.Vilhiem, pattyj and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -

The rule of thumb I was taught, if it's on your truck or trailer, it better burn. Doesn't matter if it's a DOT required light or if it's a bunch of add on chicken lights, they better ALL burn.
