Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

We always hear the doom and gloom. Facts are that the Baby boomers paid a lot into the system over the years. Now they’re a burden. Soon we’ll all be dead, and no longer a burden, meanwhile a deal is a deal. The buying power of the so called Lazy newer generation is projected to make for a pretty good overall economy. Bad News gets attention, playing on people’s fears. Good news doesn’t get enough attention. The Industrial revolution created a lot of wealth. After WWII America had the infrastructure to make things for the rest of the world. Others that were War torn didn’t, and needed rebuilding. Times were good, especially when compared to the past. During the Vietnam war Jobs were plentiful, mainly due to the shortage of Workers. Afterwards unemployment went up, along with inflation, caused by War debt, energy price increases. Some claim inflation was mainly caused by high wages. I don’t believe that myself. Yes partially true, but there’s other factors that played a larger role. Easier to blame the working class, As the economy worsened more Women were entering the workforce and also helped increase unemployment and put downward pressure on wages. Next thing you know, by the late 70s it takes 2 incomes to run a household. My point is.,..... You can’t simply blame a previous Generation for today’s problems. Each Generation passes things along, while trying to do what they may think is best. Sometimes without regard for the future. So it goes.

What happens when the birth rate becomes equals or drops below the death rate? 10-15 years, almost all the Boomers will be gone, and Gen X retired. One good thing about these Young Guns ages 21-35 is the majority of them didn’t get caught up in that BS that the X’ers did with spreading their seed around and getting divorced and paying child support. They’ve looked at the dating world and realize that it’s stacked against them. “Eff that! It’s better to stick with your Cheetos and porn and your beanbag chair.” From ages 15-35, a 20 year span, guys are planning to forgo children and families. Can’t say I blame them. But the effect is going to be nuclear bomb devastating.

I am going to go ahead and offend some people.... People in AMERICA who starve, probably choose to starve, becouse they rather have fun than eat. Thats why you see me us immigrants coming to America and working until we have no soul.

Lucky you. Lucky kids. Not everyone is so fortunate and for you to insinuate that being unable to accomplish what you did equates to lazy or stupid or negligence is the d**k part.
But I sincerely believe you still don't get it so I'll end my side of this conversation. I've already spent more time than is practical engaged with yet another obtuse, disingenuous advantaged man.

Yup. Look at Japan and Italy for some previews of the US if we can't get a reasonable plan for immigration. It ain't pretty and it's not going away...

Honestly, I can't stand Millennials. This country was great, everything was perfect, and then they were born and ruined everything. Millennials are the cause of everything wrong in the world and they are killing every industry, just read the news. I think the world will be a much better place when the last Millennial finally kicks off. All I have to say to them is "OK Millenial". Take your dang avocado toast and go ruin industries on some other planet.
