Things started downhill about the time Ted Kennedy came to the Senate floor with his grand idea called 'deregulation'. Almost overnight, trucking went from being a respectable job to a job that is looked 'down' on in the economy. The Knights of the Highway fled the industry, and a whole new crowd of drivers took their place. But not completely. You can still find some of the good ol' boys out there plying the highways in nooks and crannies. I kept my radio off until I ran into a Knight. It's good to have a CB when you meet up with one of those guys.
Is it just me or "rudeness taking over"?
