Is it legal by DOT to use those sun blockers on your driver side window?

Usually only windshields do as far as I know and then some let through 50% of it.
That tint advertises 99% block -
I commented a bit early. The problem is UVA which is close to visible and causes skin damage. Glass blocks near 100% UVB which is higher energy and will cause sunburn. I would check the coating for UVA protection which would be what you need.lilillill Thanks this.

Yeah I remember as a new driver I didn't pay any attention to the sun roasting my arm and when I looked in the mirror my left arm was way darker than my right arm.

Has nothing to do with going out. Keeps my arm from getting baked while driving. and here I thought it might have been common sense
