Many years ago, I was camped out for the night at the Petro in El Paso. The one at exit 37. There is a separate convenience store there that sells beer. Several drivers went up there and brought back beer to their trucks, then sat in the drivers seat drinking and talking on their CBs. The local cops had some undercovers watching and after a while several swooped down on the trucks with the drinkers. Gave out a lot of tickets and told the ones sitting in the drivers seats with the engines running they were lucky they weren't arrested on dui charges.
You just never know who is watching and these days you are probably on someones video.

Cops don't need undercovers. We have enough snitchers between us.

Just now I was chatting with the maintenance guy at the rest stop I'm at. I told him I was taking my 10 hour break. He asked me if I was going to have a few beers. I told him that I didn't drink, but if I did, that's super illegal. He said, "Well that's news to me, you wouldn't think so with the amount of cans and bottles we clear out of the trash and ground on the trucking side". Haha

How many times do you have to fall on your head to leave empties in your truck when it goes to the shop?
They should be arrested just for low IQ.

Nah, the empties are an IQ indicator. The more empties, the lower the IQ. It helps the shop figure out what to expect from new employees. Same with roaches in the ash tray.

Your comment to the quoted comment is actually the same way I feel, but it is a bit non sequitur. You are talking about a shop, the comment was referring to a guy that cares for a rest area.
