Is it legal to drive out of state with a CDL permit?

    If I have my permit can i drive out of state if i have another class a driver with me.

    Of course you can.

    Just get in and drive until you cross a state line.

    If you want to know if it is legal, well, you have a DMV handbook that probably has that information in it (if you decide to read it).

    Yes it is legal to cross state lines with a learners permit.

    As long as you stay within the age restrictions on interstate driving, yes.
