I fill the windshield washer reservoir with 4-Loco and run a hose through the CB to the mic.

Or you could get some blank BOLs and invoice yourself.

What's the max you can carry without a liquor permit?

Actually, here in Springfield, there's one like 200 feet from a Walmart at Glenstone & Kearney (the Walmart has truck parking). Granted, you gotta walk from one side of the building to the other, but hey...Technically it has truck parking. Lol.

Honestly speaking as long as you are sober and otherwise fit to drive it is only a violation just like a HOS or any other of the rules. It is not career ending per the FMCSA. It is just going to be CSA points and you may or may not get fired, just depends on the carrier and how they handle this. DOT stops me, looks inside my cooler and finds an unopened beer? Outside of you the driver being drunk or strung out it means you have a fine to pay and most likely a trip to safety. I don't recommend a driver have alcohol in the truck, but getting caught with a beer or 2 and being cold sober should never be a career ender.

Or keep it in the fridge. They don't look there unless you're crossing the border.

Drinking and Trucking don’t go together. Not with all of the potholes out there. It makes for a lot of spilled beer.

Yep. And it's a simple matter to make out your own BOL to cover the hooch that you've put in the trailer.
