is it me or are the new trucks ugly?

i wasn't aware that drivers are still capable of such an exertion of their thought processes.refreshing.

 

Well it's either childishness, ignorance, or arrogance that says everyone wants their truck the same way you do. Not everyone wants the visor. I'll let you be the one to tell us which of these three it is.

I was referencing the company trucks w/o exterior visors and i am thinking that a company driver has no choice in whether the truck he drives has a visor.or not.I should have clarified.huge fleet purchases probably do net significant savings by excluding a visor when dealing on hundreds of trucks at a time.heck,a visor may produce enough drag to effect fuel mileage. I still find visor-less trucks ugly as it reminds me of the fleet cabovers i have driven,when i was about your age, that didn't have a visor.the sun does indeed shine brightly w/o one.

 

I think the Prostar is kinda ugly with thoes annoying fenders. Then you notice them on the Lonestar and...

They just Just put a snazzy hood , shiny bumper, and some bling inside and charge how much?

 

The original Optimistic Prime was a Freightliner cabover. Motormaster was a K100 cabover. I like old school too(Red Sovine, Merle Haggard etc) but its 2012. I like my 587(and yes it's getting an autobot decal, my son is 8,come on!). Ladies love the big red hotrod and always want to know if the guys that drive the old style trucks are poor and can't afford new ones. Flame on!

 

You must've never seen a '11 Ferrari Italia 458 sitting next to one of those old school cars. Now THAT is a fine piece of engineering.

I like the T700 by far than anything else. 660's, cascadias, lonestars, and the prostar with the fairings. Long nose Pete's and KW's for sure as well. Western Star I think is the ugliest with the round sleeper. No sun visor is for a streamline shape most likely for less drag. I wear sunglasses I don't need a visor. Ferrari's are nice well built machines sound great. I'd probably.go with a Lamborghini if I can to that point of spending ever.

 

The new Lamborghinis are ugly, though. Have you seen the last couple years cars? It's a #### shame.
