Ummm because its two different countries?
Is the Canadian whatever it is money and the U.S. Dollar at an equal rate (and no I don't know because I dont care) is Canada not on the metric system so there is a difference between mph and kph ... And isn't fuel measured in liters? I guess if you have done all the conversions to make yourself relevant in the conversation then I am mistaken.....But....its still Canada
And my sig is a joke...so lighten up A
is it possible or easy to gross (not pocket) $800 a day for o/o?

nope Canadian money is worth more than the U.S. Dollar and if you disagree go to Canada and exchange money. Their money has more value than the dollar since about the end of 2008

They are pretty close to par...right now there is a 4 cent difference. I figure out all my figures in US measurements. US gallons and miles (a mile is a mile no matter where you are). I have room to add a truck or 2 to my operation mentioned so not like its just a 1 truck once in a lifetime opportunity either...

yeah and you live in a good area for that niche and that helps. I pull chemical tanker and seriously thinking to switching to fuel tankers. I have been in dry and liquid bulk for the last 8 years and paid percentage and always made more than I could pulling a van. 7 years as a company driver pulling dry bulk and as an owner op pulling liquid for last year and 2 months and have made really good money. would never even consider pulling a dry van again or even pulling for a mileage basis. I do prefer running under somebody else's authority but that's my preference. I have thought of the idea of own authority and maybe in the future I will think of it again but for right now what Im doing works and I am happy.

Yes, if you chose to only go 400 miles a day.

$2 pm freight is cheap.craggy1982 and landstar8891 Thank this.

Thats my point. If he is leased to authority, using there trailer, that should be an easy number at 400 miles.
-
400 miles for $800 is still cheap even using somebody elses authority. for me to go 400 miles under somebody elses authority and pulling their trailer I usually get 3.50 a mile to the truck sometimes more depending on the customer and product
