is it possible or easy to gross (not pocket) $800 a day for o/o?

    1.50 a mile is still very cheap to run a ''business''..You may go broke after the first major breakdown.

    Not if you have a small fortune in savings. No truck payment,no house payment and alot of extra cash.

    I've always told people that a truck should gross $1,000 a day some days you run a 300 mile run and take home $750 the next you may run 600 miles and spend $500 in fuel all in all $500 take home a day is about average!

    Its not about what you can gross a day its what you net. If you gross $800 a day but it cost you $450 to do it and 14 hours you are not making a lot

    why are you concerned with gross instead of net (profit). wouldnt net(profit) be a realistic picture of the money you can spend and enjoy.just curious i noticed a lot of drivers dont speak on profits.
