Net don't really matter because not two drivers cost will be the same. Gross is a better number to use here because of everyone has different cost and fuel economy.

Do a flease deal for some mega carrier and maybe. Get your own stuff, and work for a living, you will gross more than that a day.
My NET after fuel and insurance is $4650 this coming payday, truck is $1500 a month. Left home Monday night, parked up here at the truckstop Saturday night. Then again, I work for a living which means actual manual labor, sweat, and everything.....

Exactly. My definition of 'running hard' is driving more than 5 days per week, and / or driving between the hours of 11pm and 5am. What's yours?

    of course that is cheap..
I feel blessed that I'm leased to a good carrier. I just run a houston-Ft worth (245 miles) for $1275.. I can put a picture of my next coming check next week if anyone sends me a PM to remain me.

I don't have a problem with driving at night. When and wherever the money is, I will go for it.

Working hard for me is easy.Work smarter, not harder..I want the ''least'' amount of time, miles and lightest load, for the ''biggest'' money...So so simple.

I just laugh when i hear these drivers telling people they run 4000 miles week. Then they say they brought home 999.00 before food...This is just CRAZY and STUPID...

Today i drove 287 miles and made $700.00 for the day.I am very very tired and whipped...ROLMAO..:biggrin_2559:
