I am attending my local tech schools 320hr 8 week CDL A class in April. Is it a good idea, or even possible to apply for a Pre Hire at carriers you're interested in?

My MVR/Background/Job History/Credit is perfect, so if it would be possible to pre hire so that when I get my CDL - A I am ready to roll that would be great.

Don't need to start the process until about 3 weeks before graduation. It doesn't take companies long to decide whether they want to invite you to orientation or not. I finished school on a Friday in Florida and was at the hotel in Joplin on Sunday ready for orientation Monday. With most companies you still have a bunch of hurdles AT orientation to pass before a job will be offered.

Makes sense, thanks. I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea or not to call em up this early.

    I appreciate it.
