Is it possible to make good money hauling containers (intermodal)?

Few years ago I was loving it but I saw my expenses climb up except my paycheck and wasn't worth it and I got tired of hearing "we offer competitive rates" when I was working more for less

Do ups . It's 36 an hour up there. Season is over in 6 weeks.

I did once. I had a ticket in 12 months, so they bounced me.

 

If your lucky you can ride across the GW every night.

 

Well the only way I would go thru the cross Bronx again in a truck is that if I'm the passenger.

 

I can only speak for me as there are waaaay too many variables. But, to answer yr question, HELL YEA!

 

hows that working out for u or just needed a break for a minute feel the same way sometimes just like starting and quitting when ready but it really seems like a company driver with a lot of own risks when the checks cut
