If it has anything to do with Salvage stay away from it.

I personally had taken vehicles that were totaled into Salavge or out of salvage to auction barn so insurance types can bid on it for parts they think they can get out of the vehicle and that's all thats good for, plus a free bucket of shattered glass.

If I was presented with a trailer that supposedly got repaired and has a Salvage history I would walk away from it.

    This is the worry.

I would look at the unit, power it up and bring it down to -10 then take a thermo-camera and look at the repaired areas both inside and out to see if there is a difference or any heat leakage.

They wouldn't, but may not want to pay a claim on a salvage title if the time ever came about. Then again they would not really see the title until they paid the claim either.

At which point they may reject the claim. Insurance companies are famous for making policies too complicated for anybody other than an attorney to read. There is probably something in the policy about salvage titles.
