    Really?
    Do tell, ----------
    Hmmmmmmm

    You just might be right.
I know it doesn't take much for a Big truck truck driver to get their "jollies" these daze.
The number one question asked by newBees used to be What's the twenty on the commercial company?
But that question became obsolete with the publication of The Lot Lizard Locater. It even has a star-rating section with five-stars being the top of the bottom of the barrel, and a listing of lizards by popularity according to their customers. But the publisher saved the best for last. In the back of the book there's a complete list of Big truck accessible VD clinics all across the fruited plain, from sea to shining sea.
    "Ignore him"?!
    Are you serious?
    Why do that?
We'd be missin' all the fun we've been havin' if we took your advice. Do you have any other ideas or suggestions? I don't have much experience in handlin' clowns, --- mostly, I just go with the flow and enjoy the healthy benefits that laughter provides.
Like they say, Laugh, and the whole world wonders what you know that they don't, but want to.
    Or, ...... sumthin' like that.

Is it scary in colorado.....is it scary in colorado??? Of COURSE its scary in colorado.....I LIVE HERE!!!! BWAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAaaa.....but I digress.

The only thing scary about Colorado is the rusted out hoopty looking cars that WILL cut you off just to get a good lawsuit going. Man its so bad here we have 10+ ads a day from lawyers looking to sue big truck companies. THAT is scary. Of course the fact that probably 25% of the population is STONED out of their minds....LEGALLY isn't too comforting either. They'll hand you a MMJ card for freakin arthritis pain....I kid you not!

Honestly, the mountains aren't scary......Now, the mousetrap (I-25/I-70 interchange) during rush hour is scary. The lady putting on makeup while eating her breakfast and doing her hair while going 90 in the fast lane is scary, (I hear she lives in other places too!) The guy beside you with the shaved head and highly visible throbbing vein in his forehead probably has a gun....and he's scary. But colorado is no different than a lot of other places....you drive with your head on a swivel and lots of horn/middle finger and you'll do just fine.

Argh!! One of the teachers at my CDL school suggested after I got into trucking, to publish a weekly magazine listing what lot lizards worked what truck stops in each state, the services they perform and their hours.

Day late and a dollar short again. :(

I have to correct Nana, it's not the Elk gangs that are the problem, it's those #### Bighorn Gangs, they get up real high above the highway and hurl rocks down on you. I mean, heck, look at this one, must have taken 2 or 3 of them Bighorns to heave this sucker
    [IMG]

And to make matters worse, look at the size of these bighorns, this one is just waiting for some unsuspecting trucker to drive by

and these ones are in training, see how they hold up traffic to make it easier for the bigger one's to hurl the rocks down. The numbers on their neck signify how many cars they've helped nail.

Nah... its the BEARz - a gang of criminal grizzly's! :biggrin_2559:

That pic would have been of the Mt. Evans herd - the road up to the summit is the highest paved road in the US. Which means the longest fall!!

Ive never driven a truck through colorado and its most likely been mentioned somewhere in this thread ( I didnt read it through) but I went up wolf creek pass in my pick up truck and stopped at the top, seen a big rig coming down in what looked like 1st gear with the jake on. That hill aint no joke and I wouldnt want to go near it in winter.
