Dave, stay at your current job and re-think the whole truck driving adventure. It seems that every time I look into these OTR companies their CPM drops another .01 cent. Now they penalize you for driving more than 300 miles. The cpm goes down when the miles go up. The whole idea about being away from family is to make miles and run. That seems like a thing of the past. I currently work local but would love to go back OTR if I could get good miles each and every week. I know it's a tough time for this industry but I think things are changing to more local/intermodal traffic. Teams are also hot right now but that's not for me.
