True enough, but I try not to worry about what might happen until it does.

I could just as easily run short and have just enough time to make it to a place that I know they've recovered drivers from before, only to be told that is too far to come get me. True story. So instead of pushing on, I shut down at another terminal so those trailers can get relayed and I can go to the hotel on the company dime instead of waiting to be reimbursed. Only there is a convention in town, and there is not one hotel room to be had in the entire city...

I'm still kind of aggravated about that.

Od i here most of there drivers are happy! But saia, and abf, and ups frt. Not so much. Southeastern and averrt drivers seem to be very up beat and happy! But it might differ from city to city and state. I work about 45 hr. Average Weekly in the city my pay is around 1200 weekly! . I will add dont go to conway, i have not met a driver yet to just be happy there.

If you dont want the "stress" of city driving, you could try to get a linehaul gig.. The shortest run at my barn is 390 miles mon-fri, home every day, and pays in the $60's per year...

Haha I see. Road drivers make bank and want more. Lol. I'm not saying it's a bad gig. We have drivers come from over there. That didn't hate it but wasn't like you said a resort. Making 70k+ as a city driver isn't no joke. That's what one of our guys said he was doing in the city before he got released.
