That $12,000 could easily turn into a $22,000 deal. That is a tractor with an inframe ready at any moment. I would pass on it.

wat should i look for ? anything specific..Driver?

Sometimes you just can't tell until you haul a load. Then you can feel if it is pulling on all cylinders. If you have a heat sensor you can hold it next to every cylinder to see if it's firing.
If possible test drive it while pulling a loaded trailer. You'll know then if it's running right. If you can listen to the motor and you hear any noise like a lifter or a main bearing then pass on it. -
Start with a good inspection by someone who knows what they are doing.
Get a Dyno done to see what the blow by is for that engine.
But no matter, a used truck when purchased even with key tests may be a lemon. -
TKS !! i will be asking the mechanic i use to give it a good inspection before handing over the $$$ !!!
