    I wonder if he is referring to the simple sreadsheet that all Landstar BCO's have access to. Basically you enter in Gross Revenue, Book Miles, Fuel SC ,Actual Miles and it figures it all out for you. I like it, kinda keeps me in check. Here is a screen shot of a blank sheet:

    Landstar's deductions will vary depending on what you do through them. For example if you have them get your plates that will be a weekly deduction. So it is going to vary from operator to operator. I can tell you my weekly deductions are around $135. That covers plates, insurance, prepass, a workman's comp type insurance and my permits. Cheap compared to when I ran my own authority.
