i just found my copy of the disc in question...unfortunatly i no longer have microsoft excel on my laptop (it was installed a few weeks ago...but during one of my recent bouts with vista it must have been removed)

but when i get home, and can use my wife's puter.....
or brick could just repost the spread sheet....
it does not tell you to the penny.....it is a simple spreadsheet to track profitablity on loads....it does do some of the math for you though

    Rockatansky and MilkMan Thank this.

Right now even Landstar is slow, and decent freight is very hard to come by. My advise to you is hold off untill things shake loose again, or you will be trying to make a truck payment on top off your other responsibilities, and having a tough time with poor availability of freight. I am leased to Landstar, and wow, things have gone to #### since September

They have very very little reefer work. Most of what little there is ... is specialized. Temp controlled electronics etc.

As for van when ever I looked at the rates even in the "good freight times" I always wondered how those guys made money.

    i like em

they never bother me, let me choose my own loads and dont play alot of the games some play

but i feel they take too large a portion of the gross, and frieght really sucks right now for the most part

They are a good company to work for BUT, if you are thinking of coming over here because you are currently slow at your present gig, think again. RIGHT NOW IS NOT A GOOD TIME TO LEASE ON TO LANDSTAR!! YOU WILL FAIL!!

Sorry, but too many O/O's are coming over here thinking the grass is greener only to find out that it is worse than where they are and end up losing everything.

$135 is really good for deductions on a weekly basis.you just have to do basic math.u will make $730.00 for every $1000 u gross, plus the kick back if you own your own trailer of 7-8%. i talked to o/o every day with Landstar and they say it's slow compared to what they were making last summer.u have to take into consideration that fuel was high and alot of companies couldn't afford to operate nationwide.
