I called up landstar and they sent me an excel spreadsheet list of some fleet owners. A very short list. And they were pretty much all for straight trucks.

Well, I'm used to being at a company's mercy. lol It's nothing to do it for a little while longer while I save for my own truck.

And I AM approved with Landstar so any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

It took me 3 months to get qualified at Landstar. I applied Oct 7th 2015. On Jan 18th 2016 I drove 200 miles to have satellite installed. .I then drove another 500 miles @.65 per mile to pick my trailer. I did receive an email from recruiting apologizing for the lengthy qualification delay. Too little too late as I have already applied at another company. Yes, I am disappointed with Landstar and their lengthy qualification process, but I'm more disappointed in my self for allowing this to happen.

Yes, regretfully I went through all that and no I haven't officially quit Landstar as yet however, I will notify them this Monday.. Don't know who did the app but the area code is 817 so I assume its Fort Worth Tx?
The good news is that I have found a company that will qualify me in 3-4 days. This new company is better for me as I will be traveling to the same 10-15 customers mostly here in Ontario and Michigan. So its semi dedicated but not auto parts, I will never haul auto parts again but that's another story.
