I'm a O/O with kenan in south florida and everything you said is correct. I net about 1800 a week and that really not that great for A O/O but it's not the worst either. I used to earn WAYY more money but the rates keep getting cut. I'm looking into going out to Texas and hauling crude oil. I have a o/o friend out there in midland and he making my weekly pay in just one day!

I hauled fuel in Mandan, ND. I won't go back to trucking unless it's fuel and I can o/o. J5 Transport in Mandan is usually looking for a good driver. I miss the company a lot. I butted heads with someone and decided to quit and move to Idaho. I wish I would have swallowed my pride and stayed, but I didn't.

I drove for a fuel company for four years. Wanted to get my own truck and put on with them but the owner was shying away from putting on more owner operators. Gas hauling is easy and simple. I enjoyed it but got tired of being a company driver. I would go back to it in a heart beat if the company would allow me to put a truck on.

I think loves will train you as little long as you have some years experience under your belt. But there is a waiting list and preference is given to those with experience from other companies and already have the rack cards.

I own 3 small gas station country stores, not much gas sales. Getting gas from the jobber is costly as I have usually small loads. I am thinking about buying a 5k gallon straight truck and haul my own gas as the terminal is local. Is it advisable? Pros n Cons? Insurances and authority complications etc.?
