My trainer would mess with my truck after I upgraded to a driver.
But it was funny stuff like putting a plastic bag over the fender mirror. Something that can't be missed. Hehehehehe
Mikeeeee
is messing with other truck drivers equipment common?

I met a driver who parked at russelville. He said he saw a guy in a pickup truck driving around asking drivers if they needed any work done. When he got up in the morning his airline was cut.It may not of been a driver but I do know someone pulled fifth wheel handles at a flying J and 3 trucks hit the ground

Some funny joke...cost that joker his job...as the great Walter (Jeff Dunham) would say...Way to go Dumb ####!!"
Pmracing Thanks this. -
Yeah, makes perfect sense doesn't it? A lot like a suicide bomber. Blow up innocent people to try to hurt the guy way up top. I wish people like this would self-terminate. -
truck manufacturing needs to come up with a locking mech that wont unlock your fifth wheel except by in cab control only... i know they have a release inside some trucks but they need to rid the pull handle to make this fail safe...
-
Would be SOL if the mechanism failed internally in the fifth wheel with a attached trailer.
-
heck that can happen even with the handles...the stress on the jaws is unreal so failure can happen even with the best ideas i guess...
-
anyone messes with a truck is a real super dumb arse
and they would get my vote for dumb arse of the year award -
A little trick to the fifth wheel and tandem handles..
When you park the truck..first set the trailer brakes..put tractor in gear..ease up and put tension on fifth wheel and dandem pins (like you do when you pack under a trailer to check fifth wheel lock..) then, keeping the tension on the pins, set tractor brakes..
If you do it right even if they pul the handle they won't be able to disengage the fifth wheel and the tadem pins are spring loaded. on some trailers..those you'll hear pop when you release the brakes and you'll know..others aren't and they won't be able to move the handle to release the tandems..
