We NEED to hold people accountable..............this experiment in self-government only is gonna work IF we participate!!!!Oscar the KW, misterG, skootertrashr6 and 1 other person Thank this.
-
I agree, but there are far to many spineless people in the world that would rather complain about something versus doing something about it.SMTatham, skootertrashr6 and MJ1657 Thank this.

It drives me crazy feeling like there is not anyway our voices can be effectively heard with big government. I still feel like I can be heard at the local level though.skootertrashr6 and SMTatham Thank this.

I am a municipal mechanic in Ontario, Canada as far as driving the plow with snow equipment attached we have a special yearly overwidth permit in all the trucks and our rear amber light must be on while going down the road (blue if plowing/ spreading). But as the pic shows I would say they are taking a risk. It should be flagged, amber light, and oversized bannered. The police and mto have not really bothered municipalities up until now. That is starting to change and they are starting to treat us like everyone else.

I'm slow but I'm catching on. So if they don't have a permit, they don't need all them extra flags and signs.!!!! right. -
You have been driving for 20 years and that is what you got out of the post? Normally I just ignore responses like this but nothing was said in the post about permits with the exception of permitted vehicle used to describe something in the regulations. I don't know, maybe I am reading your response wrong.

Slow is putting it mildly

Blanket permits......Most county and state vehicles have them. As well as wrecker services. If an OS load gets towed, they are usually towing them close by but they usually all have blanket permits and are responsible for their routing and route surveys.

My reply was meant as Sarcasm.
All loads that are Oversize needs a permit.
