I seem to be the bearer of bad news. Just one week away from my trip to Stevens I had a sudden pain in my abdomen which turned out to be my appendix. Just had it removed but am wondering what this will do to my trucking plans.
Is my career on hold now?

Month or two delay and then carry on. .....

I would think as long as you get some documentation noting you're cleared for OTR driving and you're not taking any pain killers you should be fine.
-
Really for a minor surgery like this? -
-
If you can bend pick stuff up for agility test you will be fine
-
Trainees normally get the top bunk so you'd need to be able to climb as well.

Better that it happened before you hit the road than on the road....
Everyone heals and recovers from things at a different rate... so there is no set answer that we can give...
You, your Dr. And whatever company you are going with will have to figure it out...
But, truly, be grateful it happened before you hit the road... and have a speedy recovery... -
Thanks for all the reply's.
