    Just be the 1 in 5 that makes it.................yes 80% don't last a year !!

Those are your odds.....but you have about 90% control over those odds !!!!

It's ALL, up to YOU !!!

Well, considering the alternative...... if you're already employed, hold off for a year or so.

Right now, it sucks starting out at pretty much everything. But things are very slowly getting a tiny bit better.

But please people, don't come in thinking that trucking is gonna be "the answer" that will rescue you and solve all your problems. It's like when people used to join the military to escape hardv times. Most people can't handle the regimented military lifestyle and the same holds true for trucking. Research, research and research again before you plunk your money down.

Well, last week I made a whopping $300.
This week I had around 2700 miles, and that was taking loads that I could get my much needed home time, so...

It is what you make of it. If you are flexible, you should do alright.

I am a newbe, but I still think I got in at a good time. If you can run the miles you will make the money, since freight always has to get there.

You can make it a good time to start or a horrible time to start. For as much talk as there is about this company or that company at the end of the day it's different logos on the doors but it's all the same job. What you do with it is everything.

Read all you want, you will learn some of it. Maybe enough to make the initial decision.

I have found that "doing it" is the only way to really know what "it" is... And if "it" is for you.
