I've read every one of your posts and you seem to be looking for something stable and dependable. You want something predictable.
That's hard to find in trucking...almost impossible really.
Have you given any thought to hauling mail?

    Svmuel and Coffey Thank this.

My own opinion is if you have not started yet do something that you would enjoy doing, work through the seasons and work through the ups and downs and save your money.

Yes you can have more than one type of trailer there's no problem with that.

Reefer work requires a certain mentality. There's a lot of waiting in reefer work. The trailers are more expensive because of the engine and the additional insulation and whatever. And you need a really late model almost new if not a new reefer because the claims are expensive and they do happen.

And the insurance is much more expensive because of the claims than say van or flatbed.

Just something to think about. Some guys do really well with Reefers.

    Coffey Thanks this.

    year round work

    1) hauling foods

    2) hauling burial caskets

    3) hauling liquor and spirits

    4) hauling cigarettes/tobacco products

    5) hauling ladies under wear

    6) hauling milk

    7) hauling gasoline/propane/chemicals

    8) hauling chickens

    9) hauling heavy equipment

    10) everything IS YEAR ROUND, and YES, there "may be SOME SLOW DOWNS" during the year, but so what...??

you will still be hauling just about anything..>!!!!!!

    Coffey Thanks this.

Do you eat year round? I’ve found reefer work to be very consistent, with certain times being busier than others.

    Don't you have google?
