I confirm that.... My instructor said while the driver was occupied (home sleeping at night) another driver swiped the front end. The company is pinging the sat-alight to see which units were in the area that night and will get their driver red handed. The law was not involved and it's a internal investigation. My instructor says they will find the driver with no problem and appropriate action will be taken... Everything is tracked including bad shifting.... I'm watching my tandems severely....:biggrin_2556:

Maaybe not within feet, but they can get within the property and probably the buildings. Really they jjust need to see who was there between the hours it was good and then just cross that info with who was leaving out and moving at the time.
My opinion is that that area should only have Bobtails in it. Trailers behind the building where a lot park already. If you are leaving you should go down and around and not thru that section. When I have a trailer thats what I do... just lowers the risk. This driver is probably goin to lose his job. Glad I'm not him! If the driver even knows... :biggrin_25524:
Never hit anything so I really am not sure, but would surely think that you would notice peeling the bumper back on another truck...

Oh they can definitely tell. Its running of GPS satellites as well which are very accurate. Hell my phone can get within an accuracy of 6 feet.....3 feet on some days.

By that statement I simply mean they have the ability to monitor the rpms of the motor by pulling the EMC data and checking your fuel economy (MPG given the section of the US you are driving) showing if you are exercising progressive shifting . No GPS on the stick though... Hahahahaha.... Just thought I'd try to help my original post. :biggrin_255:

I saw a new step deck the other day in Marshfield. It was an all aluminum east, it looked pretty good, sitting next to the 15 year old trailers next to it...
