ok now I believe, I saw them with my own eyes. There are really KW T-660 here in Marshfield. I am not holding my breath til I get one, but I guess they are okay. I think they look better in blue than red, but beggers can't be chosers.

I have an 06 Freightliner with only 536,000+ and while it has some ongoing engine problems and is faded red, it also has an APU and overall has been a good truck. I think my chances of getting a 660 are about as good as winning the lotto. I have seen two new trailers at Gary with the sides painted like a Roehl billboard, says something about the difference between night and day at Roehl. If I ever pull one of these trailers near Garland Tx. I think I will find out were ETCH lives and overnight in front of his house.

Yea I seen one of them Trailers at Ellenwood and one at a customers lot as well, all the money they spent on making them pretty they should have put into getting these old trucks fixed or gotten rid of lol

Got a close look at the new Kenworth's today. Those are some pretty nice trucks. One of the mechanics had to point out the exhaust system to me, instead of a stack, the exhaust exits out under the truck just past the cab, bit of a box lookin thing. Amazing part, the exhaust is DEAD silent. With the truck running we stood less than 3 feet away from the output and were able to talk in a normal tone. Only noise you could here, was the movement of the engine which was still fairly quiet.
Otherwise, the interiors are nice, very up to date. Only downside, they all have super singles. No thank you!Ops85 Thanks this. -
Probably don't matter anyways, they will let them sit and rust before issuing them.
All the 06 freight liners up there that are left have rusted to crap. the Clutch and throwout bearings have rusted to the flywheel and soon as they put them on the road they have to get new clutches put in them. I know of over 5 trucks so far that this has happen too. Brand New, and already in the shop. typically, they rather let them sit out there and rust to pieces then get them out on the road and get these P.O.S. trucks with over 600k miles off the road. So it wouldn't surprise me to see them KW's sit there for a few years.Ops85 Thanks this. -
ok, im maybe stopping in marshfield on my way back for hometime, any idea who i need to get donuts to so i can get one of those trucks?
Ops85 Thanks this.
