The prostar i had was a flat bed spec'd truck. so that may be why.
My miles were all over the place, but in 32 days i ran just over 12,000. I then calculated how many i got paid for. I messed up at first and came up with 9,200 something. But i added it up again and came out to about 11,210 paid miles in 32 days. but some days id run only a couple hours since i never took a 34 hour reset.
Is Roehl ever going to get any new equipment?

I really can't understand why you wouldn't want both as standard

the cascadia's lack the trailer brake handle...so its kinda hard to test the trailer brakes....from what I heard it was because a pumpkin driver got in a big accident going down hill and was using his trailer brake only and jackknifed or something...I dont know the whole story...

I've got an 09 Cascadia with Trolley Brake, Differential Interlock and Suspension Dump. My guess is that they ordered the trucks without it. I can understand not wanting it, you don't use it very often and used improperly you can get yourself into a lot of trouble.

I just wrote this big story about what happened to my truck (drive shaft dropped). But I don't want to make the company sound bad because it was pretty detailed.
Short story is I had a clutch put in by Ellenwood, about 3 weeks later my drive shaft drops and causes me to get towed. Also on a road with no shoulder and its a 65mph zone. Not saying it was the shops fault but you would figure they would of at least caught this as the signs were pretty clear. 1 bolt caused it. (probs not tightened enough).
Over the phone maint. did a great job. Had a wrecker out there quick and me back on the road the next day. So no complaints. Plus the guy from phone maint., he is a great guy always like dealing with him when I have to call maint.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Lantern...what your problem was is that you had your truck worked on in Ellenwood...
I wouldn't trust them to change the oil....but if you didnt have any choice its better than nothing...

Sorry for jumping in like this, i start sometime in may, what are the chances that most if not all of the "older" trucks will be phased out by the time i start? I actually wanted to start with one of the freightliner centurys (Not that i wouldnt take a new cascadia if it was offered to me lol), but just trying to get an idea as to how quickly they are trading in new trucks and ordering new ones.

Im guessing the new cascadias are pretty standard, 72 midroof, 10 sp, no fridge ext..
