it doesnt take much, you can be passing a truck and go into a slight curve and it will sometime detect the truck in the OTHER lane.

Also if you watch my YouTube videos you'll be able to heard the vorad get set off everytime i went under a over pass or large overhead sign.

We have Bendix not sure if that's the same, and it doesn't apply the jake, it applies the brakes.

You just have to turn off the cruise. Problem solved.

I think I use the cruise control maybe a good solid 1 hour out of each week. 61 is way to darn slow to go. Those two extra mph are important ######!

i would too if our trucks were set up like that. SNI does that too, they think its safer if you have to hold the pedal down. :biggrin_25526:

My friend that also works for Roehl truck was sold. He went to marshfield to get his truck, new or old he didn't know. Before this he has had problems with Roehl like everyone and basically is sticking it through it, even the bad. So they tried to put him in a automatic century or Columbia I forget which one. He had a international 9400 in which he was beginning to like and had his set up the way he liked. So he called his FM said he would walk if he got a auto truck, didn't matter old or new. FM made a call and he got a meeting with rick roehls son, he thought he was getting fired. He said he was unhappy with a few things and didn't want a auto truck basically. So he offered him a brand new cascadia. Obviously he was ok and was trained so to speak on the vehicle collision advoidance system I suppose its vorad. He was told all the 2013 trucks would be outfitted with this system the cascadias and pro stars. Was also told by may or June the old late model trucks should be on their way out and company wide running nothing older than 2010. If its true I have my doubts. He's trustworthy wouldn't sugar coat anything. The vorad I'm unsure myself but haven't personally used it, so who knows. I'm 14/7 out of jville and honestly the 3 trucks I've slipped into 2 have been junk and I've lost money and time on them getting fixed and limping to get fixed. So new equipment in a couple months I'm all for. I'm tired of something going wrong everytime out but
do the best I can to work through. Company wise the miles are there my FM is awesome and the equipment issue to be fixed I'd be happier. The 4 mil miler truck I've also seen. Happy trails

    I have a 9400i. I want something newer then 2010.

I don't doubt you having to slip seat and having to run two hunk of junk trucks. I couldn't handle that because even right now my truck makes me hate having to go back out because I've had issues with my truck every run. *knock on wood* because I hope it starts strong and ends strong this trip out. (tomorrow morning)

no its a bendix system...and my truck wasn't on cruise (really who can or would use cruise through Nashville) when it decided to hop on the brakes all by its lonesome because of a motorist deciding he wanted off the highway now...i already backed off the power and would have had no chance of hitting him cause he was in my lane just long enough for the CWS to detect the car slowing...grrrrr
