So basically they want us to be super man with our fuel.. These things may be aerodynamic but i haven't noticed a huge increase in my MPG since I got out of my 9400i. On top I've been trying to! I've been running cruise more often, never idle, don't floor it when starting, idk.. Maybe they see something I don't. I understand if the whole fleet gains a extra 1 - 2 mpg that is a very massive amount of savings for the company but kinda making us run under a new scaling is crazy. (Who knows though it might turn out for the best but for now idk how to even read the #### thing they sent in the email)

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

Idk how to read it either. And its hit and miss. Some guys are seeing 8mpg some see 6 with the new trucks.

There's no way in hell your gonna pull 7-8mpg with 40k+ behind you going through pa or the northeast. That's for sure.

I've been seeing about 7.5, but I had 3 12k loads in a row for about 2500 miles.

Yeah I actually saw 6.9 with my old truck, but the heaviest I pulled was 12k in my first 2 weeks out this trip. Lol

So I've been out on the road with the new rig. 44k behind me and she gets up and goes, she ain't a slouch like my other '07 was. This thing pulls!

The brakes are extremely touchy when Bob tailing. When i hit the brake pedal I hear a squeak noise lol.

Other than that everything's great, the power mirrors actually work and the transmission shifts so much better than 6462.

They might be the same make and model but they have nothing in common with the way they drive.

Crazy how getting a new truck can make you so much happier. This one doesn't shake at 60 like the other did haha.

One of my buddies who's in the lease purchase program told me if I ever decide to lease I should buy this truck. Which makes sense. Id know how it drives, if anything comes up in the next few months. I'm just waiting to get my startup funds in order.

P.s.- its SOOOOO nice having an apu!!

Thanks lantern. Yeah, I'm was bummed at first that it wasn't a 2013. But after thinking about it I realized how lucky I am. I have an apu, I don't have to deal with def, and i don't have to worry about all the extra emissions stuff.
