if possible whats the trk number ?
also I was told that they only put cameras in trucks where the driver
keeps having critical events. there are two cameras one looking ahead and one watching the driver.
Is Roehl ever going to get any new equipment?

I really think putting training back to the original time frame would be
more benificial, instead of lowering training time to keep seats full and trucks moving.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
supposedly the system is on 24/7 but it keeps erasing the last 10 or so seconds unless it is activated during a critical event....
BTW my truck does not have a camera..DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Anyways DirtyDesiel. Enjoy your home time my friend! Like I said it sucks about your truck but maybe you will finally get something alot better!DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
There's an old timer who wants to trade me trucks, he's got a 2013 that's decked out with all the safety crap. He wants an older truck. I like my '07 with my apu

i went through training with roehl just a few years ago. i had 21 days CDL training in marshfield, evo1 over the road with three trainers for 17 days, evo2 with two more trainers for 15 more, and then four full days of cargo securement training in gary. that was more days OTR training than required, but it was available and i took advantage of it.
that's 36 days of OTR and cargo training. i train phase 2 students now, and i have them OTR eight to nine days to do the same thing.
i think the new system works, but it's focused on achieving minimally acceptable skill levels for entry drivers, as opposed to high levels.Treefork, childerscarl1 and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
