To add about this blue truck, its got a longer wheel base than my Columbia so maneuvering is a little more of a challenge :D

Plus my last load I got 7.65mpg. That's in new England, winter fuel, and 9,000lbs behind me lol. I'm about to get a 40k load, we'll see how it goes

These new trailers are easy to slide.
    1. Set brakes
    2. There is a little button that you barely pull on. This makes the pins go out.
    3. Get back in truck. Release tractor brake and slide tandems to desired spot.
    4. Go push on the little button. Pins will go back in and lock in place.

Really easy to do. No trailer hand brake required.

Yeah, that's great. Our air slide 65 series you have to have the trailer air pushed in, then pull pins out, get in truck and move tandems with trailer brake, then if you pull the red valve the pins pop back out and you just lock them in. They only work 20% of the time. Most I encounter o have to break out the vice grips.

They don't do well on MPG with heavy loads.

Dirtydiesel I have the same type of truck except mines a 13 speed and yea the mpg sucks on mine. I can't ever hit the goal. I don't really care though. I just plan on getting mileage pay and anything on top is just icing. I would rather not try to make the bonus and get lucky when I get it rather than try real hard sacrificing to get the bonus only to be told some excuse as to why I'm not getting it. Don't know about anyone else but as far as my truck goes it is a lemon. I have had some type of problem every time I go out. Currently my AC is out and has been out for over a week now and just a few hours ago one of the brake chambers went out on my trailer. Should have seen the smoke. Going get that fixed shortly. Luckily I was 5 miles from the customer so hopped over and getting unloaded now.

I thought I might add that while this truck has been a lemon I would much rather have this truck with the apu than to get one of those new trucks with the battery packs. I love being able to have a microwave, tv, Xbox, and laptop all hooked up at the same time while running the AC or Heat without having to worry about getting dead batteries!

Exactly! Ill deal with the automatic transmission for the apu and fridge. Those new battery trucks, the new guys can enjoy them.

This truck only has 170k miles on it. Its in great shape inside and out. I kinda like the graphics on the side too.

I told my dispatcher I wanna keep it and to see if i can instead of getting back into my Columbia. He said he'd look into it. Then an hour later sends me a message saying the truck is mine haha.

I will say my mid roof Columbia had more storage, but that's okay. Gets me ready for when i eventually get that flat top Pete haha. Also, the wheelbase is about a foot longer than the Columbia's. I noticed it today when delivering to a place I've been before. She don't turn quick like my Columbia did, But she rides like a caddy.

Yeah, I noticed this load makes it shift a lot. Kept going back and forth between 9th and 10th. Id go up a grade and it would go to 9th, gain speed, then by the time 10th locked in it lost too much speed and would go right back to 9th. I got mad an just put in manual mode and kept it in 9th. Did fine after that.
