And then there is the NON new driver who left Gary terminal, brand new flatbed trailer, heading out for a load...upon leaving his PARKING SPOT, wipes out the front corner of a brand new Prostar...
Sounds like it can happen pretty easy even for the experienced drivers. ;)

Is it just me or does it seem the wash bay at Gary is out of service more than in service?

its out of service a lot.....not like it matters...it really doesn't do anything except move the dirt around....
The wands for the trailer washout might still be in service if you need it...they are located in the washbay...

No underbody flush yesterday...might not be a bad thing though...unless they do dust control, it just makes the truck a dust magnet.

the automoat used to put two inches of water in your side boxes, as well. i didn't wash my truck for a year when they first installed them.

lately it seems different, like they've redirected the bottom nozzles. i also took a 16 penny nail and punched drain holes in all my side boxes.

still won't wash off the dirty chain lockers or the gunk on the fuel tanks.

I was talking to a flatbed driver about the coil rollover problem they were having all out of the same facility and he was explaining about how the flats tend to twist when you're turning. I would assume flat drivers do a lot more job site and off road work than those of us in vans. If that's the case then it's going to be like when I pulled frameless. One wrong move and even experienced drivers would turn an end dump into a side dump. Sometimes you could do everything right and the trailer would still go over.

I can't even imagine what that driver is going through doing that at gary, in front of everyone ! OMG !!!
Talk about crawling under a rock and not coming out ! We all get in a big hurry and that's when it happens, even to the best drivers.

He's still local. He did close quarters training and a drug test I believe. That's it, he's fine now. He was just in a rush.
