All new trucks with APU's. Oh and no problems like break downs.. Ever.
Bit much to ask? -
A list of things roehl should do in my opinion.
Replace every single flatbed trailer with the new east spread axles (they've almost done this, still quite a few red wooden flats lurking around)
Sell the prostars and cascadias. And do as follows
Van/reefer fleet- Glider Pete 386's with high rise 70" bunks and pre emissions cummins of at least 450 horses
Curtainside- do the same as above but with 500 cats purring under the hoods
Flatbed- Pete 389 gliders with 63" flat top sleepers, 600 cat 3406e, 13 speeds (18 for our heavy haul guys), have a separate division of just Conestoga kits. For hauling coils dedicated.
That seems about right to me. Lol
DISCLAIMER: These are only thoughts from a rookie flatbed driver who has a need for a hood truck and a sweet engine. I do not know one thing about running a company so these are just ideas.
FEEL FREE TO ADD TO THE LIST LOL

I could live with that ^ only reefer and curtainside with 389's. They boast more power than 386 I would assume. Its like a fantasy draft for trucks. LOL can only dream
-
All of which will be 63 miles per hour.
Such a waste of nice engines.
Oh and cut back 89% for fuel. Just saying! -
Yeah that's the kicker plus the price tag and maintenance that's why I put fantasy and dream
-
And no lantern, governed to 70. But the 389's will only go too guys with 6+ months experience. If they tear it up then they get punished by having to drive a volvo

When I joined Roehl I got a 9400i... Hunk o junk. I did like it for awhile til I got towed. Then it was all down hill.
Oh and 70?!? Man safety would #### a brick of that was going to happen! -
My first truck at Roehl back in 2006 was a 9400i. It only had 67,500 miles on it when I got it. The only thing I really remember about it was it had a BIG steering wheel.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
