Stevens is a starter company. They are rule oriented and safety conscience. As long as he follows the rules (which isn't hard), keeps his nose to the steering wheel he should be fine.
Grad fleet (his next step) is watched very closely for log violations (they will help him with those. they are expected from new drivers), on time pickup and deliveries, communication with his DM and following the 'circle of service' program. (he'll know what that is).
O-1 is the hardest. He's done with that. O-2 is fine tuning what he has learned (sounds like he's in the middle of that), then grad fleet where he goes out on his own.
be positive, ask questions and learn.
let us know how he does.
