TMC is hiring right out of CDL school. A few guys in my class received pre-hire letters. Most of us did not. When I called to try to learn more about my application, I was told that my application was submitted to their committee and I was overlooked while others were selected. He could not say why. But looking at the demographics of the guys chosen, it's a no-brainier.

I'm also looking at Stevens as my first company. I was ready to go with Schneider but I'm moving my family to Northwest Florida for which they have no positions for inexperienced drivers, although there are a couple of dedicated routes open requiring six months experience. After Stevens, I'm looking at Covenant and Roehl. None of those three have any issues we my moving from SC to FL, although the routes are limited.

    Stay safe!

TMC is hiring students. I called and talked to them, but in my area they couldn't get me home on the weekends. They said two weeks out and 2 days home. I wasn't really looking for that. They might just not be hiring from your neck of the woods for new students.

    Roknric Thanks this.
