I almost made a very mean reply to this, but Im jut going to say that this is BS. Of course it does depend on the person behind the wheel, but you should not have to cut that in half. Yes, those numbers are a bit high. Dont count on 800.00 a week in the beginning. My first 3 months on Grad fleet I averaged around 600.00 a week.

What about their hometime policy. Clayton told me its 3-4 weeks out and be home for 4-5 days. And is it possible that you can get a day off every week at home?
-
I have plans to go with Stevens Transport to. CRST and Stevens Transport are the only 2 companies that would hire me out of my area. This really sucks for me and leave me in a bad position. Im in a low paying job and now jobs are hard to get. Now my choice of future is to be a truck driver. I might go to the school in Denver. I talked to a recruiter at Stevens today and they told me they can get me started just fill out in application online on their website and once they get me pre approved I can start.

Id say nearly impossible to get home weekly.
You can expect to be out for 5 to 6 weeks and home for 1 day for each week out, up to a max of 5 days.
If you get lucky you may be able to get on a dedicated route after a year that will get you home every few weeks, but not weekly. -
Your in Miami. Im currently there right now delivering a load in the am. Didnt even know if Stevens hire out of that area because its really hard to go down south to Miami. I havent been to Miami in a long time and not looking forward to come again ( or Florida ) because now its hard to get out once your here. I can tell hometime will be a problem with you. Your lucky Stevens hire out of that area or you would have to go with CRST.

Why is it hard to get hired out of this area? I seen Stevens trucks before. And I always see other companies here to

Here ya go... Here are my settlements from Stevens. You do the math and figure out my weekly average if you wish because Im not going to take the time. But, Im sure that y'all will just turn around and blame me somehow. Sure, Im sure a little of it is my fault but the funny thing is that everyone in my class that I or my friends have kept in contact with since we went into OR1 was in the same boat as me, BROKE! Only ONE guy left that still driving for Stevens and Im not so sure that he is even still there as he was getting screwed over last I heard.
All I know is that I am making soooo much more now and that all that I care about. I got good training at Stevens but Im not going to say that they are all that like y'all do. All I am doing is trying to let the new guys coming in that they dont need to believe everything they hear from Stevens or in here. They just need to go in with their eyes open.Attached Files:

Whats wrong with Florida?? Miami have a lot of tourists that come and visit every year. Miami would be one of the places I would want to go through once in a while.

-
