Is swift a good company?

Anyone know any info on the Richmond Swift academy? Maybe going there instead of Millington

 

I went to Richmond. Highly recommended.

 

thankz wolfyinc......but I have a question will it be hard after 6-months to get on account with walmart thru swift since I think it's a dc down here in florida????

 

it all depends on the location, if they need drivers, your numbers etc.
I was just turned down for a target dedicated thats close to home, manager said he couldnt take me yet and didnt need drivers. My DL is shopping around for local and dedicated stuff for me right now, some accounts will take you with little experience, some want more etc.

Best thing to do is network with other drivers, sometimes you can hear from others about available positions.

 

Im going into Orientation on Tuesday going out with mentor on Thursday I lucked out and landed a local Wal-Mart dedicated out of Arcadia, Fl with my terminal being Ocala, Fl.

 

Hey brother I just got on and the Wal-Mart account is taking students or less then a year they really need drivers you have to live 50 miles from Arcadia Im in Cape Coral called last week Thursday and I am heading to Ocala sunday night for Orientation Tuesday

Arcadia is str8 down I-4 b-4 you reach Lakeland well way b-4 not that far from me either i'm like in the middle of everythang

 

You start on Tuesday also that whats up bruh. I pray my mentor has more experience then me lol I'd hate to train the trainer I was going to have my own truck on Thursday but safty wanted me out for 100 to 240 hours but its all good
