you know they make money if they have me driving 100's of miles just to get an empty trailer to a shipper...

I hauled some TV's once (cannot remember who I delivered them to). I think I was pushing $1 mil+ in product alone. It's fun looking thru the BOL and seeing what costs what and get that "OH ####" look on your face with a hi-value load, LOL.

sometimes its funny hauling a load and looking through the bol to see random stuff. Had a load that had solar panels and other parts, a couple toilets, hoses, all kinds of random stuff so I told my wife if the world ended I could haul that trailer out in the middle of nowhere and we could survive on those supplies lol

Thats something I never understood about some of these end of the world movies, they choose a small car to get away, they try to hit stores that are empty. I would go after the big rigs that can drive 2k miles on a tank of fuel and I would be going to places grabbing up trailers and stuff and finding a spot out in the middle of nowhere to drop them and set up camp, you figure with a truck you got a sleeper too.

    Now see?
There is your million $$$ idea for the next end of the world movie.
You should copy write it now before someone snags the idea.
Because you're right. There has never been a trucker end of the world movie.

I should have an interesting story to share with you after tomorrow hopefully, they gave me a "not an average load" offering and asked if I would go help move a circus tomorrow night, I will be working with the circus team and their driver leader. Should be interesting to see what I end up hauling and how things go.
