There were a few test, but they were easy, basic stuff, hasmat, etc. just so they know you know the stuff.
We had a variety of food, not just Chinese, but guess it makes a difference where you go, i was in Lewiston ID for mine.
wish i was still driving. i really enjoyed it. but my body decided to act up and i'm outa luck working for a long while. -
Sorry to hear that Severdsoul. I have been out of trucking for a few years myself. Kids are grown up and gone off to the US Air Force and ive kind of missed driving so this is my way of getting back into it.

It was my first go around with trucking, i really enjoyed it. I was out with a Mentor, got 4wks in, 18K miles, came home for a couple of days last month and things just went south.
But what are ya gona do. Cant change what you cant control, all we can really control in life is how we react to situations.
Hope you have a great time doing it, and make some decent money.
I am glad i got to go and do what i did. I may not get the chance to see any of those places again.
Swift is a great way to get into trucking, or back into it, sure there are many bad reports out there, but i think like anything you get out of it what you put into it. -
For the first day:
You will do your drug test first, then fill out the paper application, comdata cards issued, lunch, driving test, physical
Second Day:
Videos all day along with your hazmat test
Third Day:
Remaining paperwork, employment confirmation and numbers issued, and truck assignments

I even got a sealed copy of my high school diploma yesterday if they need that
