Could be, I misunderstood what you meant by 1500 to start out.

    Good luck.

There have been weeks I've made $1500
    Months that I lost $1500
    Days I've made $1500
    All part of the business.

Your lack of understanding has nothing to do with trucking and everything to do with the lack of basic business knowledge.

You'll find a lot of good advice here if you continue to browse over the next 5 months while you get your year. I'd suggest really paying attention to the questions from new drivers sub, ask an O/O, and whatever forum is dedicated to the type of trucking you want to get into.

It's been suggested before but reading double yellow and boy wonders threads will give you a good story of two different people who stepped out and did what you want to do. They are also pretty entertaining reads.

Since you are considering a lease through JB Hunt, I highly recommend you read every post in the link. While it may not happen to you, just know it can happen. If you don't want to bother reading the entire thread, don't click on the link just so you can read the back of the book. Put your time in and find out the hows and whys.
Back on the road. Lease purchase with JB Hunt

Regarding the insults, no one has insulted you, yet. Asking you questions and giving you advice you don't want to hear is not an insult. You, on the other hand, have some language issues I will deal with in post 45 of this thread.

Someone is lying to you or your homework hasnt been graded yet. SEVEN to NINE dollars per mile is either across town or tarped oversized, overlength heavy haul hazmat double tankers with 6 drops and a cherry ontop. I doubt a reefer full of reefer pays $9 a mile.

Dryvan loadboard freight for a new guy right now... Try $1.80 a mile. Youll need to adjust your revenue expectations by a lot.

Im trying to be helpful here so dont jump in my butt over it.

I made a mistake with that I said that big mistake I know I can get 1.80 to 2.00 a mile I don't know how I came up with that 7 or 9...I'm just rethinking all just because I'm new jack. I will wait until a 2 year span save up and get my own authority I'm not going speed I understand what you guys are saying I just going to get LLC let it age for a 2yr span keep my credit intact then apply for biz loan so I can finance with good rate then my insurance should be doable. I am a speed ball and need to slow dwn I just looking at getting my own quick but I see fast is going to make me crash ,I thought going threw a big company will help but 35% will actually be 50% when I'm done paying cost to truck and I have to work hard to make profit that I need to be comfortable. .I see I have to wait until I get my CDL aged so insurance will be cheaper and set up better biz plan I won't have to work that hard as if I had to share out 35% to company that is doing nothing for me but making me go into debt just because I think they are helping. .I understand you guys thank you for giving me reality check..thank you..I need to do my biz when it is right time and on my own not giving away money just because I want my own right away..thank you for all advice.
