Is there a cheap (free??) way to get my CDL-A?

    Yeah you could go rent a truck but the bad thing about that is no major company can hire you if you don't complete and course and receive like 120hr course completion certificate. They're insurance won't touch you. Steven's transport will pay for you to attend school and sign contract you will stay for I think it's a year. Look it up in your area. I'm in Georgia not sure who is located in urban area. Go talk to a cdl school and theyreally recruiter will assist you and point you in the right direction. How long has it been since you drove class a for a living. More than 2yrs? Also look at distribution company's. A lot of timestudents they hire with no experience and have 6months to get class a. You will be a driver helper till then but its like free training. Good luck.
