I know a lot of the jobs out there have you work long 11-12 hour days but any with less? It would be a lot to get used to
Is there a company that doesn't work you over 8-9 hours?

the only times i work over 45 per week, is in the winter due to the roads and the dock areas where i go, as the plows are not there before i get there. other than that, i'm home in quick time. it is also a union job (oooww taboo subject), so we have all new equipment, as a result no time wasted for a breakdown. there is also extra work if we want it, like on weekends, nearly every time i am asked, i refuse it, i like my time off.
so they are out there. get your experience then look for them, as they do not advertise.Badmon, Dominick253 and tinytim Thank this. -
If you're talking OTR a 40 hour week only happens when the megas don't like you.
Lot's of people recap all the time and average 8 to 9 hours a day. That's everyday though. -
12 hours is a short day for me - Good Luck

Dominoes Pizza. Pay is a little less then new guy trucking but tips are there and maybe some sort of female erotica show from time to time. But you'll have to learn to deal with and avoid the male pervs.

Do you want to sleep in and play Sleeping Beauty also? Lazy people only make more work for others.
Lucky1346, CrappieJunkie and David_Simpson Thank this.
