I have a project I'm gearing up for and I came across that CA has a 24ft max axle separation on stinger steered setups (the truck, not the trailer, car haulers mostly).

Which leads to: is there a max overall (not just CA)? I know vehicle length is limited to 40ft.

I see RVs and school buses with the massive tail swing. I was curious if there was a reason for this (regulations?)

Is there a limit to rear axle to the end of the frame?

This would be a load carrying truck.

Maryland has a limit. I forget what it is. But they are rather nazi about it versus 53 foot trailers with tandems all the way up.
